Odd Leikvoll may not have been familiar with these words of wisdom when he laid the foundations in 1958 for what is now Scandinavia’s largest manufacturer of cutlery. However, we are pretty sure that the company founder soon adopted this philosophy. 50 years later, and Hardanger Bestikk can celebrate a half century, over which the brand name, products and gifts have gained renown far outside Norway’s borders. For several reasons. However, the true secret behind our success as a major supplier of gifts lies in our roots and traditions – in our identity and vision.
